EAST HAVEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball team enjoyed a visit to the Connecticut Food Bank in East Haven on Wednesday afternoon, as three members of the team (two players, one staff member) made the trip to help supply food all throughout the state in conjunction with Quinnipiac's Positive Play initiative.

Women's Basketball Director of Operations Tobi Momoh along with student-athletes Samantha Guastella and Jennifer Fay all made the trip down the state to help pack boxes with a group of volunteers and Connecticut Food Bank staff members. Guastella, Momoh and Fay all teamed up to organize the incoming shipments of food into boxes ready for shipment to suppliers throughout the state. The group representing Quinnipiac volunteered two hours at one of the three statewide hubs as the number of boxes filled in the time spent at the distribution center totaled nearly 100.
