Nick Orlowski, Niagara, Men's Cross Country, Sr., 5-10 Alden, N.Y./Alden High School

Orlowski is getting set to end his career on the Niagara men’s cross country team and has saved some of his best running for last. He opened the 2014 season with a personal record in the Little Three Championship 5k race with a team-leading 16:09. He tied his personal best 8k time two events later at the National Catholic Championships at Notre Dame when he finished with a 26:46. That record didn’t last long as he trimmed nearly 20 seconds off with a 26:27 three weeks later at the team’s next event. Orlowski will graduate with a degree in Math Education.

Trish O’Dwyer, Monmouth, Field Hockey, Forward, Sr., 5-9, Dublin, Ireland/Loreto Beaufort

Trish O’Dwyer, the MAAC Preseason Player of the Year, has paced Monmouth’s offense since moving from the midfield to the forward line.  The fourth-year Hawk has 29 points on the strength of 10 goals and nine assists.  The Ireland native registered a goal in seven-straight games highlighted by her second career hat trick at Villanova.  O’Dwyer has reached double-digit goal total in a single season for the third time in her career, while her nine assists increases her program-leading mark to 29.  The biology major, who was named to the 2013 MAAC All-Academic Team, has a game-winning goal and a defensive save to her credit.
