BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's volleyball team continues to give back to the community by visiting the Northbridge Health Care Center down in Bridgeport, Conn. As part of the Quinninpiac Athletic Department's Positive Play Initative, the Bobcats visited Northbridge to bring some happiness to the elderly.

The Bobcat squad helped out by socializing with the people there while also helping the Northbridge staff behind the scenes. The team helped prepare meals and drinks even provided transportation to the people in need. Some of the players also painted nails for some of the ladies in the midst of conversation.

Head coach Kris Czaplinski continues his long lineage of community service as his squads are consistently present and vibrant figures within the surrounding communities. In his three years on the job at Quinnipiac, Czaplinski has executed several training clinics at nearby middle schools, volunteered at New Haven soup kitchens, participated in the University-wide BIG EVENT and has had his players reading to local elementary school children in nearby New Haven schools.
