Eleven MAAC Men's Soccer Players Named NSCAA All-Northeast Region

EDISON, N.J. - Eleven men’s soccer student-athletes representing six Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference institutions were named to the 2014 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division I Men’s All-Northeast Region Teams.
2014 MAAC Offensive Player of the Year Ignacio Maganto of Iona and 2014 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year Matt Jeffery of Monmouth were named to the NSCAA’s All-Northeast Region First Team.
All-Northeast Region Second Team selections from the MAAC include defender Tobias Esche of Quinnipiac, midfielder Dom Sarle of Monmouth, forward Machel Baker of Quinnipiac and forward Asani Samuels of Canisius.
Third Team selections for the NSCAA All-Northeast Region in the MAAC include 2014 MAAC Goalkeeper of the year Borja Angoitia of Quinnipiac, Monmouth defender Emmanuel Senyah Agyemang, Fairfield defender Angus Hastings, Iona midfielder Michael Holzer, and forward Alexander Tejera of Siena.
