Alyssa Acompora, Fairfield, Swimming & Diving, Distance, Sr., West Islip, N.Y.
Alyssa is a senior captain of our women's swimming & diving program. She competes mainly in distance events and has participated in 13 different events for the Stags throughout her career, including breaststroke, butterfly, freestyle, and IM events. She has also excelled in the classroom, posting a 3.99 cumulative GPA as a nursing major, to earn recognition on the University's Dean's List.
Keegan Boisson-Yates, Iona, Swimming & Diving, Freestyle/Backstroke, So., Tamarac, Fla.
Keegan Boisson-Yates has had a standout early season for the Iona College men's swimming team, recording six individual event victories. Boisson-Yates opened the season with victories in the 200-back and 200-free in Iona's home meet against St. Francis Brooklyn.
He then claimed the 100-back and 100-fly events in the team's meet against Bryant, before taking first in the 100-backstroke against Manhattan. Boisson-Yates also recently took the 100-fly event at the Loyola Invitational with a time of 51.13.
