EDISON, N.J. – Siena College freshman forward Margot Hetzke was named Division I Women’s Basketball Metro/Upstate “Rookie of the Week” by the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC).

She scored a game-high 23 points in just 26 minutes on 7-11 shooting in the Saints’ win Friday over the host Pioneers. Hetzke tallied her second double-double of the season in the Championship Game Saturday with 13 points and 10 rebounds in the Saints’ loss to undefeated Akron. 11 of Hetzke’s 16 total rebounds last week came off the offensive glass.
