Edison, N.J. - One female and three male MAAC cross country runners took part in the USA Cross Country Championships in Boulder, Colorado. Kelly Paskos of Siena College took part in the Junior Women’s 6K, while Andy Adamovics, Daniel Galford, and Andrew Tario of Iona College took part in the Junior Men’s 8K.

The women’s race featured 39 of some of the best high school runners and collegiate freshmen in the nation, and the men’s race featured 55 runners. The races served as the National Championship for Cross Country. Siena’s Paskos crossed the 6K finish line in a time of 23:12 and placed 9th overall. The top ten finish for the freshman honored her as a Junior All-American. For the men, it was a trio of freshman from Iona taking part in the event. Andrew Tario paced the event for Iona with an 11th place finish, crossing in 26:29. Andy Adamovics placed 29th and posted a time of 27:24. Daniel Galford crossed directly after Adamovics with a time of 27:35 for a 30th place finish.

All four runners who took place in the event look to be atop of the league’s most impressive runners next season.
