NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The Iona College Men's and Women's basketball teams hosted Iona College Awareness Week with its four games at the Hynes Center on Wednesday February 12, Friday February 14, and Sunday February 16. Throughout the week both basketball programs, along with Iona's Lacrosse, Softball, Men's Soccer, and Women's Water Polo supported awareness for the Coaches Cure CF Foundation and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Play 4Kay initiative and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, and the Prostate Cancer Foundation. In addition to raising awareness across campus, the teams sold t-shirts, wristbands, and raffle tickets to raise proceeded that were donated to each of these foundations.
