Fairfield Women's Basketball to Host Maine in WBI Quarterfinals on Sunday

Edison, N.J. -- The sixth-seeded Fairfield University women's basketball team will host seventh-seeded University of Maine on Sunday, March 23 at 2pm in Alumni Hall for the quarterfinals of the 2014 Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI).
The Stags advanced to the quarterfinal by defeating Bryant 90-86 in double overtime in the opening round of the CBI, taking Fairfield to a 21-10 record overall. The Stags are led by Junior Forward Katie Cizynski who is averaging 16.7 points per game, making .492 of her shots and 8.5 rebounds per game.
