The Semifinals of the 2014 MAAC Women's Basketball Championship Set for Sunday

SPRINGFIELD, MASS. – The 2014 MAAC Women's Basketball Championship continues on Sunday, March 9 with the semifinals round.
No. 1 Iona College will face No. 4 Quinnipiac University at 11:00 a.m. in the first game of the session on ESPN3. Iona swept Quinnipiac in the regular season, defeating the Bobcats 95-86 on Jan. 20 and 80-72 on Feb. 27.
The second semifinal will feature No. 6 Rider University against No. 2 Marist College at 1:30 p.m. and it will be broadcast live on ESPN3 as well. Marist defeated Rider in both regular seasons contest 66-56 on Jan. 29 and 79-51 on Feb. 21.
The winners will advance to the title game of the 2014 MAAC Women's Basketball Championship set for Monday March 10 on ESPNU.
