Kate Frye Named Corvias ECAC Track & Field Athlete of the Week

Edison, N.J. –Monmouth University's Kate Frye has been named Corvias ECAC Division I Metro/Upstate Women's Track & Field Athlete of the Week for April 13th.

Frye won the 400 meter dash at the Princeton Quadrangular Meet on Saturday, racing the course in 53.86 and setting a new school record in the process. Frye wasn’t done, later in the day she also helped lead the MU women’s 4x400 relay group to a win in the event and a ECAC qualifying time of 3:44.47. Overall, she won two events on the day, both with strong times for ECAC qualification.
