MAAC Announces 2014 Golf All-Academic Teams
MAAC Sports
Edison, N.J. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today that a total of 50 athletes comprise the 2014 MAAC Golf All-Academic Teams. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Fairfield University led all schools with 11 members named to the team. Siena College had seven athletes named to the team, while Niagara University and Manhattan College each had 6 members. Quinnipiac University had five athletes, with Monmouth University and the University of Hartford having four representatives. The University at Albany, Iona College, and Rider University all added two athletes apiece. Saint Peter’s University rounded out the team with one athlete.
