The 2014 Men's and Women's Lacrosse Championships will be Simulcast on ESPN3

EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced that the 2014 Men's Lacrosse and Women’s Lacrosse Championship Finals will be simulcast live on ESPN3. The Men’s Lacrosse Championship Final will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3. On Sunday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m. the Women's Lacrosse Championship Final will take place.

Time Warner Cable will produce both live games on the network in New York State. The simulcasts of the games on ESPN3 will be blacked out in New York with an archived version of the Championship Finals available at the conclusion games for 30 days following the contests.  

The 2014 Men’s Lacrosse Championship will be held at Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff Field on the campus of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. This will be the seventh time that the Men’s Lacrosse Championship is held at Marist with the last time being the 2012 Championship. Siena College, Marist College, University of Detroit Mercy and Canisius College will all vie for the title of MAAC Champion. Detroit returns to the championship as the defending champion while undefeated Siena will look to take the trophy for the second time since 2009 and first time under the helm of head coach John Svec.

Canisius College will host the 2014 Women’s Lacrosse Championship at Demske Sports Complex in Buffalo, N.Y. The Golden Griffins will look to claim another MAAC Champion title after winning the championship the previous three years. Also contending to take the trophy are Fairfield University, Marist College and MAAC newcomer, Monmouth University.

The semifinals for both championships will be streamed live on MAAC.TV for viewers.
