Litzell Named Corvias ECAC Track & Field Athlete of the Week

Edison, N.J. –Manhattan's Love Litzell has been named Corvias ECAC Division I Metro/Upstate Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week for the second week in a row.
Manhattan College's freshman Love Litzell from Ostersund, Sweden continued his great season with a first place finish in the hammer throw at the ASU Invitational from Arizona State’s Sun Angel Stadium on Friday. He had the only two marks over 60 meters in the competition, and all five of his legal throws would’ve won the event. His winning effort of 62.49 meters (205 feet) came on his final attempt, after he’d already secured the victory. With this performance Litzell earns a No. 23 ranking on the NCAA DI Outdoor Qualifying List for the event.
