Marist's Eich Named Corvias ECAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

EDISON, N.J. – Jordan Eich of Marist College has been named Corvias ECAC Division I Metro-Upstate Baseball Pitcher of the Week, it was announced.
Eich, a senior southpaw, tossed seven shutout innings in Marist's 9-2 win over Saint Peter's on May 11. He allowed just three base runners, scattering two hits and yielding one walk, and no Peacock reached third base in his outing. He also recorded seven strikeouts.
Eich retired the final seven Peacocks he faced, and also retired eight consecutive batters between the second and fifth innings. He retired the side in order in five of his seven innings, and threw an economical 94 pitches.
Earlier this week, Eich was named “Pitcher of the Week” by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
