Jacksonville Finishes Strong at the NCAA Rowing Championship

Edison, N.J. –A historic season for the Jacksonville University women’s rowing team came to an end on Sunday as the Dolphins wrapped up competition at the 2014 NCAA Championships finishing 22nd in the nation. They put on a strong final performance for the season against the top boats in the nation.

On Sunday competing in the D Final, the V4 of Renee Pharis (Cox), Rylie Ayles (4), Jennifer Pavlik (3), April Beck (2),Rebecca Clark (1) posted a time of 8:34.376.

The 2V8 lineup of Lauren Whetzel (Cox), Anna Palmer (8), Laura Stevenson (7), Jenna Holt (6), Victoria Tkacz (5), AllisonRector (4), Ashley Hirt (3), Jodi Coia (2) and Sydney Warpness (1) finished in 7:48.397.

The V8 lineup complete the day for the Dolphins as Maycee Dioneda (Cox), Danielle Keeler (8), Stefanie Keeler (7),Julianna Welch (6), Cat Plesko (5), Victoria Hernandez (4), Jessica Mathews (3), Veronika Stasaityte (2) and Jordyn Clary(1) finished in 7:16.495.
