Jordan Ayris, Fairfield, Men's Soccer, Forward, Bicester Community, Bicester, England
Jordan Ayris enters the 2014 season as one of the program's top career scorers with 39 points. The forward has 16 career goals and seven assists which includes two goals and two assists a year ago. He is an All-MAAC player and has appeared on the MAAC All-Academic team. He has also been part of the MAAC Academic Honor Roll.
Brigid St. Leger, Canisius, Women’s Soccer, Senior, GK, Cazenovia, N.Y. / Chittenango
Senior Brigid St. Leger has started the first two games of the Golden Griffins’ season in goal, and the senior from Cazenovia, N.Y. has been strong for the Blue and Gold. In a loss to cross-town rival Buffalo on Aug. 24, St. Leger made a career high 14 saves and now boasts a 1.64 goals against average, to go along with 56 saves in 11 career games played.
The goalkeeper also found success in the classroom; she was named to the MAAC All-Academic team for a second consecutive season (2012,2013) after posting a 3.51 GPA as a Sports Management major.
