Daly and Molloy Take Home Runner of the Week Honors

Edison, N.J.- Fairfield University's Sam Daly was named the MAAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while Fairfield University's Charlotte Molloy earned the MAAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the week.
Sophomore Sam Daly was the Stags top-finisher for the second consecutive meet after his solid performance at the Fordham Fisasco/Ed Joyce Memorial Run at Van Cortlandt Park on September 6. Daly clocked a time of 26:57.75 to place ninth among Division 1 harriers in the five-mile race. Fairfield placed third overall out of eight Division 1 teams.
Freshman Charlotte Molloy was the Stags top-finisher for the second consecutive meet and helped the Stags to a second place finish among eight Division I teams at the Fordham Fiasco/Ed Joyce Memorial run at Van Cortlandt Park on September 6. Molloy clocked a time of 19:49.53 to place fourth among Division 1 runners in the women’s 5K. Molloy’s time ranks 24th all-time among individual Fairfield performances at Van Cortlandt Park.
The 2014 MAAC Cross Country Championships will be held on Friday, October 31st at Homldel Park, Holmdel N.J.
