Ritter and Wolff named ECAC Runners of the Week

Edison, NJ – Emily Ritter of Rider University and Emily Wolff of Quinnipiac University were both honored by ECAC. Ritter was named Corvias ECAC Division I Women’s Cross Country Co-Runner of the Week with Silvia Del Fava of the University at Albany. Wolff was named Corvias ECAC Division I Rookie of the Week.
Ritter, who was named the MAAC Female Cross Country Runner of the Week yesterday, finished first overall among 171 runners at the Monmouth Invitational, covering the 3.1 mile Holmdel Park course in 18:34.2. It marked the second time in as many race this year that Ritter was the overall winner.
Running in her debut season with the Bobcats, Wolff shined as the fastest freshmen among all 171 competitors. Wolff finished the meet in 18:45.2 as she also picked up her first career Top 5 finish in the process.
