Manhattan's Allie Yamashiro Named Corvias ECAC Volleyball Libero of the Week

EDISON, N.J. - Manhattan College sophomore Allie Yamashiro has been named Corvias ECAC Division I Libero of the Week.
Yamashiro, who was named MAAC Libero of the Week, led the Jaspers to a 3-0 record and the La Salle Invitational title. The tournament MVP averaged 4.91 digs per set and committed just one receiving error through the three victories. In Friday’s season-opening win over La Salle she recorded 15 digs and four assists. On Saturday she went on to have a match-high 25 digs against NJIT and two service aces. In the five-set victory over Coppin State in the championship, Yamashiro racked up 14 digs alongside three assists.
