EDISON, N.J. – Emily Wolff from Quinnipiac University is the MAAC Women's Track Performer of the Week. The MAAC Men's Track Performer of the Week is Sheldon Derenoncourt from Manhattan College. Lauren McDonald from Monmouth University is the MAAC Women’s Field Performer of the Week, while Taylor Bernstein from Monmouth University earned the award on the men’s side.

Freshman Emily Wolff from Quinnipiac University is the MAAC Women’s Indoor Track Performer of the Week. Wolff won the 5000-meter run at Saturday's Gotham Cup at the New York Armory. She defeated the 11-person field with a blazing time of 17:42.70, clearing the pack by over 35 seconds. Her time moved her into eighth place in the Bobcats' record book.  

The MAAC Men's Indoor Track Performer of the Week is Senior Sheldon Derenoncourt from Manhattan College. At the Gotham Cup, Derenoncourt finished in fourth place in the 500-meter run. His IC4A qualifying time of 1:03.24 was .61 seconds off of the first place finisher in the 70-man field. Later in the meet, Derenoncourt led Manhattan to a fifth-place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a IC4A qualifying time of 3:19.45.

Senior Lauren McDonald from Monmouth University is the MAAC Women’s Indoor Field Performer of the Week. At the Angry Birds Invitational, McDonald took home first in the pole vault with a ECAC qualifying vault of 3.60 meters, clearing the field by .15 meters.

The MAAC Men's Indoor Field Performer of the Week is Senior Taylor Bernstein from Monmouth University. At the Angry Birds Invitational, Bernstein took home first place in the shot put with a IC4A qualifying toss of 16.60 meters. His shot cleared the field by .02 meters. In the weight throw, Bernstein came in third place with a IC4A qualifying throw of 17.07 meters.

The 2015 MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held on February 21st at the New Balance Armory Track & Field.
