Javion Ogunyemi, Siena, Men’s Basketball, Forward, So., Troy, N.Y.
Ogunyemi is averaging 8.5 points and 4.2 rebounds as the starting center for the Saints, up from 1.9 points and 1.8 rebounds as a freshman. He's third in the MAAC in field goal percentage (52.3%) and has reached double figures nine times this season after not doing so once as a rookie. Ogunyemi has already nearly tripled his total point total from last season and has started 16 of Siena’s 19 games. In the classroom he posted a 3.07 grade point average this fall, raising his cumulative GPA to 3.02 in creative arts. Ogunyemi was named Siena’s Leo Dufort Student Athlete of the Month for December.
Lee Harrison, Saint Peter’s, Softball, Pitcher/Utility, Jr., Las Vegas, Nev.
Harrison, who is two-year starter on the softball team, ranked third on the team in home runs (4), hits (29), runs scored (18) and fifth in RBIs (14) as sophomore. The junior paced the team with a .312 batting average with nine home runs, 13 doubles, 49 hits and 24 RBIs as a freshman. Harrison, a biology major, boasts a 3.4 grade-point average.
