Alexandra Hutzler, Manhattan, Swimming & Diving, Breast/IM, Fr., Miller Place, N.Y.
In her brief time as a Jasper, Hutzler has broken six school records. The freshman currently holds the school bests in the 100 free, 50 breast, 100 breast, 200 breast, 100 IM and 200 IM events. Her most recent records came at the ECAC Winter Championships, when she snapped the school marks in the 100 free, 100 breast and 200 breast.
Manny Thomas, Marist, Men's Basketball, Guard/Forward, Sr., Brooklyn, N.Y.
Manny Thomas has been a valuable member of the Marist men's basketball program on and off the court throughout his career. A Criminal Justice major, Thomas is a two-time selection to the MAAC All-Academic Team. On the court, Thomas has provided stability, leadership and infectious energy. He has appeared in 105 career games, and has knocked down 38 percent of his three-point attempts. This season, Manny is averaging a career-high 8.3 points per game, and has already set a single-season career high with 24 made three-pointers through Jan. 4.
