Darrin Sealey Named MAAC Baseball Officials Assignor

Edison, N.J. – Darrin Sealey has been named the baseball officials assignor for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, announced Commissioner Richard J. Ensor, Esq.
“Darrin Sealey brings outstanding experience and qualifications to the MAAC as the coordinator of officials,” said MAAC Associate Commissioner Ken Taylor. “His demonstrated expertise as an on-field umpire that worked in the College World Series and his commitment to educating new umpires made him an excellent choice. I look forward to working with Darrin and the Collegiate Officials Group.”
Sealey’s term as assignor will begin immediately. His duties will include assignment of officials for all MAAC baseball contests and all home contests of MAAC institutions, as well as all post-season MAAC Baseball Championship contests. Sealey will also coordinate recruitment and evaluation of conference baseball officials.

Sealey has served as Supervisor of College Umpires for the Mid Atlantic Conference for over a decade and has been an umpire for 22 years, taking part in two College World Series, eight Super Regionals and 15 Conference Tournaments. His appointment as conference baseball assignor is the third for the league.
