Stripling scored three goals and added an assist on the week in the Hawks’ 4-1 win over Seton Hall and 2-0 win in the MAAC opener at Canisius. Against Seton Hall, Stripling got the Hawks’ scoring started, before he assisted on Dan Pizzimenti’s goal in the 60th minute. Stripling capped the day with a goal in the 64th minute, heading Derek Luke’s free kick into the box inside the near post past Spindler. At Canisius, Stripling found the net once more when he collected a rebound and turned it home to give Monmouth a 2-0 lead. The strong offensive week puts Stripling in the team lead in both goals (4) and points (10), while his two assists are tied for second on the team.
