Player of the Week
Briana Flagg - Siena
Jr., OH, 5-10, Naperville, IL/Rosary
Flagg tied a career-high with 21 kills, and rounded out her eighth double-double of the year with 11 digs in Siena’s 3-1 MAAC Championship rematch victory over Marist. Flagg hit .315 with just four errors in 54 swings on the outside. Flagg led all players with her 21 kills. She also posted a .967 reception percentage with just one error in 30 receives against Marist’s tough service. Flagg averaged 5.3 kills and 5.6 points and 2.8 digs per set on the week, increasing her MAAC-best totals to 3.97 kills and 4.24 points per set on the season.

Emma Aldaya – Rider

Aldaya averaged 6.38 digs per set as the Broncs went 2-0 this past week, moving to 9-1 in the MAAC and holding on to first place. In a 3-1 win Against Niagara, Aldaya had 17 digs and added three service aces. In a 3-1 win against Canisius, Aldaya had 34 digs including career dig number 1,000.
Rookie of the Week
Claire Archibald – Iona
Fr., OH, 5-10, Coto De Caza, CA/Santa Margarita Catholic
Claire Archibald led Iona to three wins this week including two in MAAC play. Archibald posted double-doubles in all three matches and averaged 4.17 kills and 3.42 digs per set while hitting .246 on 138 total swings. She recorded 14 kills and 11 digs in a four-set win at Hartford on Monday to start the week. She hit .303 and was perfect on 20 service receptions. On Saturday, she had 16 kills and 14 digs in a three-set sweep of Canisius while hitting .273. Archibald completed the week with a 20-kill effort vs. Fairfield, matching a career-high while reaching the 20+ kill mark for the second time this season. Her three aces and two blocks accounted for her career-best 24.0 point output. Archibald recorded 16 digs. Defensively, she returned 46-of-47 service receptions in the three matches.
