Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Revamps Website
MAAC Sports
EDISON, NJ – On Tuesday, October 27, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) will be launching a redesign of its website, maacsports.com. The updated website will feature a new video tab, which will allow fans to find and watch the latest on-demand videos from MAAC.TV. The new header will feature rotating classic photos from the past 35 years of MAAC action, highlighting each individual sport.
The newly designed video section will allow fans to see the latest from MAAC.TV and will play in the same window once clicked upon; no longer will the website redirect you to a new page. The website is easier to navigate and will no longer require as much scrolling to get all of the information one could be searching for. The headline stories on the website will now visible in the middle of the homepage rather than stacked up on the left side of the homepage.
In addition to the new videos tab, the website has been reorganized and been given an overall cleaner look. Visitors of the website will be able to find the content they are searching much quicker than before. For example, the MAAC Goodworks Challenge standings are now located on the homepage. The lower right side of the website features a rotating “championship central” graphic which will list the information of each sports championship. Previously, the championship central photographs were located on the bottom of the website.
“Branding is an integral element of the conference’s marketing and the redesigned MAAC webpage greatly assists in that effort,” noted MAAC Commissioner Rich Ensor. “NeuLion is a cutting edge technology partner and I want to thank them for being tremendous partners in our branding efforts as we deliver expanded content to the MAAC’s member schools, coaches and student-athletes, and fans.”
The revamped website will allow fans who are scrolling maacsports.com an easier experience for all. Each sport specific page will feature news and video for its respective sport with new photo dimensions, making photographs stand out more on the page.
The MAAC continues to strive to provide the best content for its membership and the newly designed maacsports.com allows the conference to continue to do so.
