On Sunday, October 25th, members of the Fairfield women’s basketball team helped volunteer at the Boo at the Zoo event at Bridgeport’s Beardsley Zoo. This event was a kickoff event for Halloween that encouraged children to dress up in costume and explore the wonders of the zoo with their families.
Marist
Make a Difference Day is the nation's largest day of volunteering. Each year on the fourth Saturday of October, millions of Americans rally into action to improve the lives of others. The Marist Baseball team once again joined in on this annual event and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity to help repair homes in the Poughkeepsie area.
