Kelsey Carey was the Stags leader in both of their games during the week and helped Fairfield stay undefeated, winning both contests. Carey averaged 18.5 points, seven rebounds, 1.5 assists, and one steal while shooting 70 percent from the floor. In the win at Loyola, Carey recorded her second career 20-point game and led the Stags on the defensive end as Fairfield would outscore the Greyhounds 36-14 in the paint. In the win against crosstown Sacred Heart, Carey scored 12 of her game-high 17 points in the second half to lead the Stags to their third-straight win.
Rookie of the Week
McKinzee Barker, Monmouth

Barker continued her strong early-season play with six points and nine rebounds on Thursday against Robert Morris and a near-triple-double of 14 points, nine rebounds and nine assists in a Sunday overtime victory over Colgate. The freshman shot 47.4 percent (9-19) on the week, including a three-point field goal on her only attempt of the week. Six of her 18 rebounds on the week came on the offensive glass, while she also made three steals in the two games. She rarely left the court, averaging 37.5 minutes per game
