Men’s Diver of the Week

So., 5-9, Derby, NY/Lake Shore

Wright helped scored 12 points in Canisius’ 145.5-96.5 loss against Cleveland State last Friday.

The sophomore won the men’s 3-M event against Cleveland State by over 33 points scoring 296.55. In the men’s 1-M event, he came in 3^rd place with a total of 256.65.

Women’s Swimmer of the Week

Hannah Graesser, Canisius

Jr., 5-6, Lake View, NY/Frontier HS

In a loss to Cleveland State, Graesser secured two 1^st place finishes against the Vikings. Her first victory came in the 50-yard freestyle when she was the only competitor to finish in less than 25 seconds with a time of 24.29. Graesser then went on to win the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 53.22. The junior also anchored the Griffs’ top finishing 400-yard freestyle relay, which came in 2^nd place behind Cleveland State. In the Golden Griffs 153-90 loss against the Vikings, Graesser led Canisius with 22 points.
