Canisius went into the holiday break with a 68-57 win over CAA foe, Northeastern last Monday, thanks in large part to the efforts of senior guard, Tiahana Mills. The Binghamton, N.Y. native was incredibly accurate shooting 5-of-6 from the field, including 4-of-4 from beyond the arc, and 1-of-2 from the stripe to notch 15 points against the Huskies. Not only was she among the team-leaders in points, but she was effective in all facets of the game, as she secured five rebounds, and notched seven assists in the victory. With Mills’ help the Griffs headed to the Christmas break with the highest win percentage (.700) its had since the 1981-82 season.
