Greg Perrier, Manhattan, Men’s Track & Field, Distance, Sr., Dix Hills, N.Y.
Perrier won the 800 meters and ran the anchor leg on the 4x800 meter relay at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships last Friday at the New Balance Armory Track & Field Center. He earned 10 team points in the 800, posting a winning time of 1:53.16. Perrier then anchored the Jaspers to third place in the 4x800 relay. The quartet finished in a time of 7:55.49 to seal second place in the team standings for Manhattan.
At last year’s IC4A Indoor Championships, he had the fastest time in the 800 preliminaries (1:51.17) before taking second in the final with a time of 1:50.89. In addition, Perrier ran the anchor leg on the Jaspers’ sprint medley relay that finished ninth in the Championship of America at the 2014 Penn Relays.
He has already qualified for the 2015 IC4A Indoor Championships in both the 800 and 4x400 meter relay.

Iona College women's indoor track junior Rosie Clarke lowered her own school record in the women's mile set just last weekend by more than two seconds with her time of 4:35.01 at the 2015 Boston University John Thomas Terrier Invitational at BU's Track and Tennis Center.
Clarke was the top collegiate finisher, topping the No. 2 finisher by more than nine seconds in the event. Last week at the Metro Team Challenge her time of 4:37.82 at Armory Track & Field Center was less than a second faster than her teammate Kate Avery's mark set at the 2014 MAAC Championship. At the time of completion of the event, it was the second fastest time in the NCAA this season and currently stands at No. 4.
