Monmouth University to Produce 24 Spring Contests to Air on ESPN3

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J.- Monmouth University Athletics has announced that 24 spring contests have been selected to air on ESPN3.

Twelve baseball games, five softball, four women’s lacrosse and three men’s lacrosse matches will be shown on the platform by Monmouth’s ESPN3 production team.

Monmouth’s women’s lacrosse team starts the spring slate off on March 4 when the Blue Hens of Delaware come to Monmouth Stadium. Siena will be the men’s lacrosse team’s first showing on ESPN3 while baseball gets into the action with a double header against Manhattan on March 28. The MU softball team will have its first game on air on April 15 against St. Joe’s.

Since launching in late December, Monmouth has produced 10 men’s and women’s basketball contests on ESPN3, with five more games still on the docket, including Friday’s women’s game against Rider.  Monmouth was also the only Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) school to have a live National Signing Day event on the platform and one of six schools in all of Division I.
