EDISON, N.J. – Rosie Clarke from Iona College is the MAAC Women's Track Performer of the Week. The MAAC Men's Track Performer of the Week is Dylan Capwell from Monmouth University. Lydia Wehrli from Manhattan College is the MAAC Women’s Field Performer of the Week, while Blerim Pocesta from Manhattan College earned the award on the men’s side.

Graduate student Rosie Clarke from Iona College is the MAAC Women’s Indoor Track Performer of the Week. Clarke came in second place—first out of all collegiate runners—in the mile at the 2015 Boston University John Thomas Terrier Invitational at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center. Her time set a new Iona school record time of 4:35.01. Clarke’s time propelled her into 4th place on the 2015 Indoor Track and Field mile leaderboard.

The MAAC Men's Indoor Track Performer of the Week is sophomore Dylan Capwell from Monmouth University. At the Armory Track Invitational, Capwell finished in first place in the 800-meter run. His time of 1:49.46 was about 2 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher in the 47-man field.

Senior Lydia Wehrli from Manhattan College is the MAAC Women’s Indoor Field Performer of the Week. At the 2015 Boston University John Thomas Terrier Invitational, Wehrli took home third place in the weight throw with a toss of 18.21 meters. Her throw set a new MAAC-high on the year.

The MAAC Men's Indoor Field Performer of the Week is junior Blerim Pocesta from Manhattan College. At the 2015 Boston University John Thomas Terrier Invitational, Pocesta took home first place in the weight throw with a toss of 19.09 meters to win by 10 centimeters. He bested the competitive 53-man field by 10 centimeters.

The 2015 MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held on February 21st at the New Balance Armory Track & Field.
