EDISON, N.J. - Quinnipiac's women's basketball team continues to receive votes in the national polls this week, after receiving four votes in the Associated Press (AP) Top 25 National Poll for the second consecutive week.

Last week, Quinnipiac claimed their first MAAC Championship title after joining the league in 2013. The Bobcats defeated nine-time defending MAAC Champion Marist 72-61, while also completing a perfect record of 23-0 against MAAC opponents in 2014-15 and finished 14-0 at home during the season.

The MAAC Championship game victory extended the Bobcats' winning streak to 21 games which ranks as the sixth-longest unbeaten streak in the nation. Quinnipiac was one of seven teams in the country to record an undefeated record during league play and own the seventh-highest win-loss percentage (.912) in the nation. The Bobcats rank 23 in the current RPI released by the NCAA which is the highest ranking for Quinnipiac this season.

Tonight the Bobcats will learn who they will face off against in the NCAA Tournament during the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament Selection Show airing at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
