Wagner and Marist Earn Points in Latest CWPA Poll

EDISON, N.J.- The Wagner women's water polo team received 14 points in this week's Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) National Top 20 Poll as the Seahawks claimed the 19th spot.
The Seahawks went 3-1 this past weekend with wins over Marist, Iona, and St. Francis (NY). They were led by Jess Lundgren who tallied 18 goals and 7 assists on the weekend.
Wagner is 18-7 (5-1) on the season with five wins over CWPA National Top 20 members.
Also receiving votes is Marist College with 2 points to round out the poll. On the weekend the Red Foxes went 3-1 with wins over Iona, VMI, and Villianova.
The 2015 MAAC Water Polo Championship will be held on April 25-26 at McCann Natatorium in Poughkeepsie, New York.
