Iona
On Friday March 27, the Iona Men’s Soccer Team participated in the Project Bro Christian Brother’s Outreach program. The event took place at St. Joseph’s Residence, a home to retired Christian Brothers. The team interacted with the Brothers and contributed to a question and answer session. Each player introduced themselves and got to know more about the Brothers as well.
Marist
On April 13, the women’s volleyball team went to Hagan Elementary to help kids with homework after school and then give a volleyball demonstration.
Saint Peter’s
The men’s soccer team participated in Rebuilding Together Jersey City. As a team they painted parts of the exterior of a school in need of renovating. Then, the team went to Liberty Park where they had to load pickup trucks with garbage that needed to be taken to the dumpster at the Rebuilding Together site. At the end of the day the Rebuilding Together people held a BBQ for the volunteers. They also helped to clean up.
