Cameron Amyot, Fairfield, Men’s Tennis, Sr., San Diego, Calif.
Cameron Amyot is a senior captain of our men’s tennis program. Amyot competes primarily at No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles for Fairfield. This year, he owns a 3-4 record at No. 3 singles with a 2-3 mark in MAAC play. At No. 1 doubles with partner Ofir Solomon, he owns a 4-2 overall record with a 3-1 mark in conference play. Amyot has also excelled in the classroom, posting a 3.62 cumulative GPA as a double major in Economics and Finance, to earn recognition on the University's Dean's List.
Tori Quinn, Canisius, Women’s Lacrosse, Sr., Attack, Orangeville, Ontario
Senior Tori Quinn has arguably been the best Golden Griffins player this season, as the senior captain leads the team with 55 points. Quinn is tied for second on the team with 30 goals and has a team leading 25 assists. The Orangeville, Ontario native broke the Canisius women's lacrosse all-time points record earlier this season, breaking her sister's record of 203 points. Quinn now has 230 points in her career and there is still at least three more games for the Griffs this season.
Overall Quinn has totaled 144 goals, 86 assists, 230 points, 107 ground balls, 111 draw controls and 85 caused turnovers in her career.
The attacker also found success in the classroom; she was named to the MAAC All-Academic team for her sophomore and junior years (2013,2014) after posting a 3.36 GPA as a Physical Education/Health Education major.
