Indianapolis, Ind. – The #19 Wagner (25-8, 10-2 MAAC) women's water polo team will face #12 Princeton (29-3) in the 2015 NCAA Women's Water Polo Tournament Play-In Game.The contest will take place on the campus of Princeton at DeNunzio Pool on May 2 with the time of the game to be announced.The Seahawks and Tigers will square-off in one of two opening round play-in games with Whittier scheduled to take on UC San Diego in the other contest.The Green & White and the Princeton are familiar with one another with the Tigers outlasting Wagner by a score 9-6 at the Bucknell Invitational
earlier this season.Wagner earned its trip to the NCAA Championships by defeating Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) rival Marist in the title game by a score of 10-8
.Princeton qualified for the tournament after securing the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) championship by dethroning defending conference champion Indiana 7-6.This marks the second consecutive season that the Seahawks have earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament as they fell to Indiana in a play-in game last season.
