Emily Ritter, Rider, Women’s Track and Field, Sr., Distance, Millsboro, Del.
Senior Emily Ritter (Millsboro, Del./Sussex Tech) ran the 3000 steeplechase in a Rider record time of 9:55.15, placing second to earn All-East honors at the ECAC Track and Field Championships at Princeton University May 15-17.
Ritter’s time in the 3000 SC is eighth best nationally this season.
With a gold (steeplechase) and a pair of silvers (1500, 5,000m) Ritter was named the Championship Most Outstanding Performer at the MAAC Championships, hosted at Monmouth University the first weekend in May.
A MAAC All-Academic honoree as a Secondary Education/Biology major, Ritter will compete at the NCAA East Regional May 28-30 in Jacksonville, Florida, the second year in a row that she has qualified for the regional.
Last year, Ritter was 45th with a time of 10:53.99 in the steeplechase.
Zach Rawson, Saint Peter's, Baseball, Sr., Outfield, Ashburn, Va.
Rawson graduated with a 3.77 grade-point average with a concentration in business management. A member of the baseball team for all four years, the senior hit .255 with 35 hits, 13 runs scored, three doubles, a triple and 12 RBIs as a senior.
