Connor Panas, Canisius, Baseball, Sr., Outfield, Toronto, Ontario

Canisius senior Connor Panas earned his undergraduate degree from the College May 16, and then helped lead the Golden Griffins to the program’s second MAAC baseball championship in three years as the Blue and Gold won five elimination games to secure the conference’s crown. A native of Toronto, Panas leads the Griffs with his .379 batting average, which ranks 24th in the nation. This season, the All-MAAC First-Team selection recorded 91 hits, 17 doubles, seven triples and 10 homers to go with 67 RBI and 65 runs scored. He was also good for 19 stolen bases on 24 tries. He hit .500 with 12 RBI and 10 runs scored in the MAAC Baseball Championship en route to be named the tournament’s MVP. In the classroom, the two-time CoSIDA All-Distric I All-Academic honoree received his degree in physical and health education.

Stephanie Viggiano, Siena, Softball, Sr., Second Base, Seaford, N.Y.

Viggiano recently graduated following one of the most decorated careers in Siena Softball history. She finished her illustrious career ranking fourth all-time in program history in hits (174), fifth in doubles (37), sixth in runs scored (85) and seventh in total bases (217). She started all 47 games that she played in this spring and ranked second on the Saints in both hitting at .363 and doubles with 14 which was the second most in program single-season history. A Second Team All-MAAC and MAAC All-Academic selection, Viggiano led the Saints with 61 hits this spring for the second consecutive season - the second highest total in program single-season history. Viggiano was a four-year starter on the middle infield for the winningest class in Siena Softball history (91 wins) which advanced to the MAAC Semifinals for the first time ever earlier this month. In the classroom, Viggiano graduated with a 3.84 cumulative GPA and received her degree in accounting. She was named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete following her junior season.
