Wagner and Marist Earn Points in CWPA Poll

EDISON, N.J.- The Wagner women's water polo team was tied for 18th, receiving 13 points, in the latest Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) National Top 20 Poll, while Marist women's water polo team received 1 point to round out the poll.
Wagner, the 2015 MAAC Water Polo Champions, lost in the NCAA Division I Women's Water Polo Championship play-in game to No. 9 Princeton, 12-2. The Seahawks were led by the 2015 MAAC Offensive Player of the Year, Jess Lundgren, who led the team in goals with 116 goals and 58 assists on the year. Wagner finished the season with an overall mark of 25–9 and a 10-2 conference record.
The Red Foxes finished the season with a 20-14 (11-1) record. Marist was led by All-MAAC First Team honoree, Amanda Amorosa, who tallied 83 goals, and All-MAAC Second Team goalkeeper, Skyler Henry, who recorded 286 saves and a.570 save percentage.
