During the regular season, Begley made it to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, notched his 100th career point in a 20-4 win over NJIT on April 11 and was selected to the All-MAAC First Team. He finished his final season fourth on the team with 27 goals and 43 points and was second in ground balls with 63.
In his four-year career at Marist, Begley amassed 112 points and collected 142 ground balls to become one of the most versatile midfielders in program history.
The Red Foxes had a historic season as a team with an overall record of 14-4 and unbeaten 6-0 mark in conference play. Marist won its second MAAC title and hosted the first ever home NCAA playoff contest in the college's history, taking down Bryant, 10-6, in an NCAA First Four matchup.
