EDISON, N.J. – After 16 years of service at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), Associate Commissioner of Baseball & Men's Basketball, Ken Taylor, will be leaving the MAAC office. Although he will be leaving his conference post, Taylor will remain a part of the MAAC membership as he has accepted a position as the Associate Athletic Director of Marketing and Development at Monmouth University.

"Ken Taylor has been a valuable member of the MAAC staff for over 16 years and his contributions to the league have been numerous," notes MAAC Commissioner Rich Ensor, "Starting as an intern in the MAAC office, working as a championship director and advancing to Associate Commissioner for Men's Basketball and Baseball, Ken Taylor's career has coincided with the growth of conference and his efforts have been part of its success as a league dedicated to excellence on the court and in the classroom.  I wish him good fortune as he starts his new position and know that echoes the thoughts of the MAAC membership."

Taylor first joined the MAAC staff in August 1999 as Administrative Fellow for Ice Hockey and Media Relations. He was promoted to Director of Ice Hockey and Special Events in July of 2000. In June of 2001, he was promoted to Director of Championships, a position he held until being promoted to Assistant Commissioner for Championships in 2004.

In his most recent role, Taylor oversaw operations for baseball and men’s basketball. He coordinated the 36-game MAAC Basketball television package, officiating bureaus, in-season scheduling and administration of the MAAC Basketball and Baseball Championships. Taylor served as the Tournament Manager for several NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds that the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference hosted.
