13 MAAC Swimming & Diving Programs Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Recognition

EDISON, NJ – 13 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) men’s and women’s swimming & diving programs earned Collegiate Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America recognition.
The 13 programs include; Canisius College men’s and women’s, Fairfield University men’s and women’s, Iona College men’s and women’s, Manhattan College men’s, Marist College women’s, Niagara University men’s and women’s, Rider University men’s and women’s, and Siena College women’s.
To be named a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, a program must maintain a 3.0 or higher team cumulative grade point average. The award is presented twice annually, once following the fall semester and once following the spring semester. This spring, a record 600 men’s and women’s collegiate swimming and diving programs representing 406 institutions across the Division I, II, III, NAIA and NJCAA levels were tabbed CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America -is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
