Rashawn Dally - Men's Soccer - Quinnipiac - Bloomfield, Conn.
In Quinnipiac’s only game this past week, freshman forward Rashawn Dally recorded his first career goal in a 2-1 loss at Rhode Island. After 24 minutes of scoreless action, the Bobcats broke the tie with their first goal of the season off the foot of Dally. The Connecticut native received the ball in space and gave Quinnipiac the lead with a strike through the goalkeepers’ legs. Dally led the team with three shots including two on goal in 77 minutes of action. He has started all four games this year in his freshman campaign, tallying a team-high five shots with a .600 shots on goal percentage.
Claire Feiertag - Women's Soccer - Niagara - Ridgeway, Ontario
Senior Claire Feiertag has anchored the Niagara defense the last few seasons while setting records along the way. The Rideway, Ontario native tied single-season records in shutouts with nine and with a 0.63 goals against average in 2014. Feiertag entered the 2015 season three shutouts away from setting the career shutout mark which is 14; she has two shutouts this season so far. She is second on the Niagara University all-time list in GAA, saves and wins.
