Men’s Runner of the Week:
Sam Daly, Fairfield
Junior, Bedford, N.H. / Bedford
Daly finished fifth overall as the first Stag to cross the finish line at the Fr. Victor F. Leeber, S.J. Invitational on Saturday morning. Daly posted a time of 27:04.91 on the 8K course around Fairfield University’s campus, leading the Stags to a tie with Sacred Heart for a meet-best 30 points.
Women’s Runner of the Week:
Sami Carey, Fairfield
Sophomore, Mansfield, Mass. / Mansfield
Sami Carey lead the Fairfield Stags with a 16th-place performance at the Fr. Victor F. Leeber, S.J. Invitational on Saturday morning. Carey finished the 5K course around Fairfield University’s campus in 20:44.32, leading the Stags to third place.
