Tatum finished with 11 steals, one shy of the MAAC record, in the Jaspers’ 64-47 victory over Saint Peter’s on Thursday. The 11 steals were also the second-highest single-game total in the NCAA this season. Tatum added a game-high 16 points to complete her first career double-double, and she also grabbed three rebounds. Against Iona on Monday, she registered 13 points, a career-high seven boards, and four assists, as Manhattan overcame a nine-point deficit entering the fourth quarter to post a 63-56 win. Tatum had seven points in the fourth quarter against the Gaels, including going 4-for-4 at the line down the stretch to ice the victory. In the two wins, she averaged 14.5 points, 6.0 steals and 5.0 rebounds while shooting .400 (8-of-20) from the floor and .917 (11-of-12) at the charity stripe.

Aryn McClure, Quinnipiac

Aryn McClure led all MAAC freshmen in scoring and rebounding for the second straight week as she led the Bobcats to another undefeated 2-0 week as Quinnipiac extending their MAAC-leading winning streak to six straight. McClure posted another impressive stat line that saw her average 13 points and seven rebounds in 29.5 minutes per game. Her 13 PPG average led the Bobcats while she shot 68.8 percent from the floor in two games going 11-of-16 overall. McClure started the week going 4-of-8 from the floor on her way to eight points and three rebounds as the Bobcats handed the MAAC preseason favorite Fairfield a 64-55 loss on the road. Her standout performance of the week came on Sunday as she led the Bobcats’ to a dominating 94-52 home win over MAAC-leading Siena. McClure was red hot throughout as she finished 7-of-8 from the floor, including 6-of-6 to start the game, while also going 4-of-5 at the free throw line on her way to a game-high 18 points. She added 11 rebounds in her 30 minutes of action to give her a double-double for the third time this season and second time in three games. McClure’s defense also aided the Bobcats as Siena was held to just 28.8 percent from the floor and 7.1 percent from behind the arc in what stands tied as the largest win (42 points) in Quinnipiac’s Div. I history (since 1998-99).
