Men’s Track Performer of the Week
Jermaine Lascelles, Saint Peter’s
So., Bloomfield, CT/ Bloomfield
Lascelles finished fourth in the 400 meter dash over the weekend at the NYC Gotham Cup. The sophomore from Bloomfield, CT finished the event with a time of 48.44, which is his third IC4A qualifying time for this season. Lascelles’ performance is the best time that any MAAC student-athlete has finished the 400 meter event in this season, and he also broke a Saint Peter’s indoor record while doing so.
Men’s Field Performer of the Week
Tyree Adams, Rider
So., Hamilton, NJ/ Hamilton West
Adams placed first in the long jump event over the weekend as the Broncs competed at the Tiger Open, hosted by Princeton University. Adams won the event with a distance of 7.25 meters, beating out nine other competitors.
Women’s Track Performer of the Week
Cleopatra Morrison, Rider
So., Long Branch, NJ/ Long Branch
Morrison was victorious in the 60 meter dash for the Broncs over the weekend at the Tiger Open. The sophomore from Long Branch, NJ finished the event with a time of 7.69.
Women’s Field Performer of the Week
Marisa Robbins, Manhattan
Jr., Goshen, NY/ Goshen Central
Robbins placed first in the pole vault event at the NYC Gotham Cup over the weekend. The junior from Goshen, NY had a season-best clearance of 3.75 meters to win the event, beating out twenty other competitors. This was Robbins’ second consecutive pole vault victory for the Jaspers.
