Emily Riddle(Edmonton, Alberta/ Dr. E.P. Scarlett) and
Erica Hardy (Montreal, Quebec/ St. Thomas) each earned weekly honors from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced by the league offices.
Doerfler was tabbed the conference's Offensive Player of the Week after totaling 17 points and 15 goals in the Seahawks opening weekend of play. Doerfler tallied five key goals in the Green & White's 11-10 overtime victory over Cal Baptist. The scrappy center also played a pivotal role in Wagner's 8-7 win over #17 Long Beach State as she tallied two scores.
Riddle earned MAAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after posting 40 saves and leading the Seahawks to a 3-3 record at the UCSB Winter Invite. Riddle registered an 8.83 goals against average and stopped 11 shots in the Green & White's overtime victory over Cal Baptist.
Hardy poured in four goals and dished out seven assists in her first weekend of action as collegiate player. She played a key role in the Green & White's three wins. Hardy's highest point output came against CSU Bakersfield where she recorded two goals and passed out one assist.
The Seahawks are back in action on February 5th in the Bruno-Brown Classic against Hawaii.
